Our products are designed to help remove stains on the SURFACE of teeth (EXTRINSIC staining) - tough stains like coffee, tea, tobacco, wine and food stains that make our teeth look very yellow over time.

If stain/discolouration is from inside the tooth (INTRINSIC discolouration) such as Fluorosis. effects of medication or health issues, then these type of conditions are irreversible - the stains are permanent as it is already in the body system/enamel so no natural product or chemical bleaching treatment can fully remove it.

Since all of our products contain only natural ingredients, in general it does take longer to see results even when used diligently as compared to a product with chemical/bleaching ingredients in it. What our Natural Tooth Polish does is it helps remove these tough stains on the surface of our teeth gradually and make teeth look brighter.

Because most of us are born with natural yellow teeth, our teeth will still look yellowish (and not necessarily bleached-looking white) but much brighter as the unnecessary tough stains on the surface of teeth are gradually removed making our teeth look naturally brighter and feel cleaner.

Our human bodies are very different from each other and our teeth enamel is also different from each other. Some people have stains that can be easily removed and some people have much tougher & stubborn stains from years of accumulation on the surface of teeth.

Strong treatment paste that acts like a Mask & Scrub to polish teeth. The paste is thick, concentrated & strong so that is why using only a pea-sized amount is more than enough for 3 - 4 times/week. 

It's designed to remove tough/stubborn coffee, tea, wine and tobacco stains.
There are 2 formulations: Elixir 1 and Elixir 2.

Natural Toothpaste is a Gentle Whitening Solution:

Our Natural Toothpaste is very mild and can be used daily just like regular toothpaste.

It's designed to remove light food stains only and daily maintenance of teeth brightness.

If the stains on the surface of your teeth are not thick and tough, then Natural Toothpaste is good enough as it is a Gentle Whitening Solution.

But it takes longer to brighten teeth as it is only able to remove light food stains.

It's not as effective in removing the tough/stubborn stains that's accumulated over the years on the surface of our teeth.

* Best to partner a Natural Tooth Polish (30gm) and a Natural Toothpaste (100gm) for maximum stain removal and maintenance.

* Please note: Chacology Tooth Polish is NOT a regular toothpaste. It acts like a mask and scrub for teeth, tongue and gums. You still need daily cleaning with a regular toothpaste.

The term Elixir defines the difference of ingredients in each formulation and the type of teeth and gums condition it's suitable for: Normal OR Sensitive teeth and gums.

ALL of our products contain Charcoal and Virgin Coconut Oil for brightening/whitening but each Natural Tooth Polish Elixir contains different healing ingredients and formulation %.

You can try a Natural Tooth Polish first, so that you can polish off the stubborn stains accumulated on the surface of your teeth over the years, then perhaps add on the Natural Toothpaste if you want to later on.

If the stains on the surface of your teeth are not thick and tough, then Natural Toothpaste is good enough as it is a Gentle Whitening Solution.

But it takes longer to brighten teeth as it only able to remove light food stains. It's not as effective in removing the tough/stubborn stains that's accumulated over the years on the surface of our teeth.

For really tough stains, our Natural Tooth Polish range works better and is more effective as it's more intense.

Our Natural Toothpaste is very mild and can be used daily just like regular toothpaste.

Our Advice on How to Use each product:

• After a whole day of staining teeth with items you consume, best to use the strong Natural Tooth Polish Elixir 1 OR Elixir 2 (3x week - alternate days) at NIGHT to scrub off the stubborn stains (no need to use regular toothpaste).
• In the MORNING, use your regular toothpaste or Chacology Natural Toothpaste to clean teeth.
• On days that you are not using the Natural Tooth Polish, use the Chacology Natural Toothpaste 1x daily - Morning or Night.
• It's designed to remove light food stains and daily maintenance.

Yes it's safe. Our products are formulated by scientists at UPM and tested by dentists.

Over a year of RDA tests were done on various types of teeth to ensure that our formulation could effectively remove the tough stains on the surface of teeth without harming the enamel. Results were evident.

We also had an external 3rd party lab in Penang do an abrasion test against 2 other charcoal-based toothpaste products from US & UK. Our product was the least abrasive.

Our products are manufactured at a GMP certified factory, registered and approved to be sold/distributed to the public by Malaysia Ministry of Health (KKM/MOH).

The unique combo of the two main ingredients – Bamboo Charcoal and Virgin Coconut Oil - binds with rough parts on our teeth, usually surface stains and plaque, making it easier to remove the tough yellow substances. Once the charcoal has been given enough time to stick to our teeth, it can be removed and takes the plaque, food particles and surface stains with it.

This is how it succeeds in removing tough stains on teeth effectively. It polishes teeth, removes stain without harming the enamel and cleans the mouth leaving it feeling extra fresh and clean.

No it won't .... but only if used as directed and intended (directions published on product label and website).

However, it's important to note that Charcoal on its own is a strong detox substance. Although we use only a small percentage of it, combined with essential oils in each formulation, it can still be strong for some teeth & gums conditions.

Also, the essential oils we use for each formulation can also be a factor causing irritation for some people with sensitive teeth and gums.

So far, only a few customers (with allergy or extra sensitive conditions) experience some side-effects and we advised them to further reduce the amount and frequency of use and monitor if that works for them.

We recommend using for 1 to 2 months and see if you like the results. It’s completely up to you as everybody’s teeth and the thickness/toughness of yellow stain on teeth are so different.

Our Natural Toothpaste takes longer to see results and only works to remove light stains.... it's not as effective in removing the hardcore stains that's accumulated over the years on the surface of teeth.

Unfortunately, there is no such thing as a permanent whitening treatment in the market because we stain our teeth daily with the food and beverage we consume on a daily basis. Even whitening treatment offered by dentists only lasts for a few months. Our teeth are stained gradually again from the various items consumed daily so constant maintenance is key.

We have had customers who use our products and see great results then stop using it. A few months later they buy to start using again because their teeth are yellow again from stains accumulated from daily consumption of F&B.

Imagine a white plate that's been stained with coloured food items daily, if not washed after use, the stains will accumulate and become harder/thicker to clean over time.

Same as other health/wellness programs like weight loss, fitness, etc maintenance is key.

Our products are safe to use even with braces as it contains only natural ingredients so won't harm the braces at all.
We have a lot of customers who wear braces to buy our product.
The feedback we received from customers wearing braces is that our tooth polish is able to clean their teeth better as it is a strong paste and can remove the stains and particles from hard to reach areas like in between braces.

We suggest using the Natural Toothpaste daily while braces are still on. After braces are removed, add the Natural Tooth Polish (3 - 4 times/week) to the oral care routine to further clean and polish off any tough unwanted stains on the surface of teeth to make the new straightened teeth look much cleaner, brighter and shinier.

Yes, our products are safe to be used on any type of teeth as it contains only natural ingredients.

We have quite a few customers who have porcelain teeth, etc and have tried it ... so far no complaints and they have repeated their orders!

All of our products are safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding as our formulation contains natural ingredients. It's as safe as using the regular toothpaste that you use daily.

Our products are safe for all ages even for children to use as it contains only natural ingredients. We have a lot of families with kids using it. 

However, it is best used by kids with permanent teeth (not milk teeth) and start off with using our Natural Toothpaste (Gentle Whitening Solution) as it is a mild daily whitening toothpaste.

Then later on in their teens, introduce them to our Natural Tooth Polish once a week perhaps as it is a strong paste (Intense Whitening Solution).

Unfortunately, conditions like fluorosis, too much medication intake, etc that results in stain/discolouration within the teeth (meaning embedded inside the enamel) is irreversible - the effects are already in the body system/enamel so no natural product or chemical bleaching treatment can fully remove it.

However, we have customers with these conditions try our Natural Tooth Polish range and their feedback is that it does help brighten their teeth because what our product does is polish off the stains on the surface of the teeth.

We have had many positive feedback from customers (especially smokers) who have bleeding gums, mouth ulcers and sore issues. 

Their feedback is that our Natural Tooth Polish range has helped reduce these issues. In some cases it has helped heal their ulcers and they don't get them so often.

This is due to the high concentration of healing ingredients for gum care that we added in each formulation:

Clove Oil & Vitamin C in the Natural Tooth Polish Elixir 1 helps with bleeding gums and ulcers/sores.

Organic Propolis in the Natural Tooth Polish Elixir 2 helps minimize dental cavities, reduces plaque and inflammation

If you are experiencing these symptoms, this is a possible side-effect of using too much (more than recommended) of the Natural Tooth Polish as it is a concentrated paste.

Charcoal is a super detoxifying agent and on its own are strong strong harsh compounds. Even though we use only a certain percentage of it in our formulation and combine with other soothing agents like Coconut Oil, Clove Oil, Vitamin C, Propolis and others, it can still be strong for certain individuals.

Reduce the amount further and use it 2 times a week.

All human bodies are different, so different individuals react to the product differently.

There is no limit on how long you can use. People use it as a short-term treatment to get themselves party ready while others use it to maintain their pearly whiteness teeth and general mouth health on a more long-term basis.

Over a year of RDA tests were done on various types of teeth (family members, friends, scientists, dentists, volunteers) to ensure that our formulation has the right ratio of ingredients (especially charcoal) that could remove the stubborn stains on the surface of our teeth without harming the enamel and results were evident.

We haven't done any specific test on plaque removal/build-up so we can't claim that it does.

However, we have received feedback from some of our regular users and amongst our team as well that there is noticeably much less plaque build-up since using our product.

We as a brand still do not claim that it does as there is no valid scientific proof but what these customers may have experienced is that using our product does help in reducing further plaque or tartar build-up and not necessarily the removal of it.

We still think that a proper scaling treatment by a professional dentist works best in the removal of plaque/tartar.

Once we are able to start on proper testing and get positive results, then we can safely publish it accordingly :)
